I don’t know. There is just something wrong about words like ‘wanna, gonna, ain’t’ coming out in an accent that just isn’t African American. I just take issue with some chinese that I have come across, spouting those words, like they are ‘oh so cool’. Much to my dismay, Eric does it as well. However he does it through chat only. Thank heavens, if not I don’t know what I’d do.. I’ll probably have died a thousand deaths by now.

Form sentences properly, speak it in a way that is yours, unique.. and no one would cringe or pee in their pants with laughter, when they hear you. That is just my stand. I know I am pedantic with grammar, spelling and sentence structure. I get annoyed even with myself when I spell something wrong. It is something that I am trying to change about myself. Allow people the space to learn English in their own good time.

But I sincerely hope that they’d just lay off on the use of wanna, gonna, banana crap. Gosh.. be original man.
